Banaboster is rude arrogant, rude, condensing and violent man who does not like things don't his way and is rude to most regardless of their position or fame as such he was demanding to Makarov Dreyar a respected Guild Master and member of the The 10 Wizard Saints even when the latter suggested peaceful negotiation to repay Fairy Tail's debt. His violence is also shown to his Guildmates as he hit one of them when they suggested the Alliance were busy with the war. Showing his arrogance that he believed he held any power in the Alliance despite not being an Alliance leader.
However, Banaboster doesn't seem to be completely cruel; he agreed things would be alright between Fairy Tail and them if the money was paid off, though they had actually caused more damage to Fairy Tail's guild than the actual amount Fairy Tail had to pay for their rent.
He is also quite the coward as he shivered in fear when Makarov threatened him and during his defeat at that hands of Nico Robin.

- Banaboster's Japanese VA is Yoshimitsu Shimoyama who also voices Alzack Connell, Cancer, Obra, Sugarboy, Semmes, Bora, Warcry, Kurohebi and Motherglare. Inabi Uchiha and Tobio's Father in Naruto.
